My Encounter with Jesus (Salvation)

I desired to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for many years. While in form one in high school, I emotionally responded to repentance altar call under pressure from a certain brother who used to borrow my shoes when going to preach. It wasn't from the conviction of the Holy Spirit. I backslide after three months. A 'bad company corrupted my good morals Corinthians 15:33.' As a result, I pioneered a strange sect which involved martial arts & sniffing 'glue' (an aesthetic used by the shoe makers) secretly in the school while in form two. Someone was also involving us in Yoga in our home area during holidays. Little did I know that brethren were praying for me in the school. Very mysteriously, I lost confidence in these habits in September 1996 and started desiring salvation. On 20th Feb 1997 at night, God visited me in a vision while in a trance on my bed. I saw hell! But as I was walking towards the deep fiery boiling furnace, someone grabbed me from behind. This is Jesus. I woke up and found that I was still on shoes in my feet in the bed. On looking to my watch, it was 11.47pm. I couldn't resist the force that directed me to go out of the dormitory. I was confused and not sure where I was going. Near the school latrines, I met three Christian union (C.U) officials standing. God spoke to their heart about me. The C.U. chairman called me, "Ken, do you want to get saved?" I got into tears. "Yes." I answered. Suddenly, there was a blackout in the whole school. Could be they had captured the biggest demon in the school. One brother went for a torch and I was taken to the 'POWER HOUSE' (C.U. prayer house) where I confessed my sins and the Grace of salvation was revealed to me. I am free since then 2Cor 5:17. My life is transformed completely. My desire to be a preacher begun after watching several Televangelists. It's no longer me that lives but Christ Jesus lives in me.

Holy Ghost Baptism.

After completing my 'O' level in 1998, I left my village to Nairobi (Kenya's capital city) in search of opportunities. I got a job in a law firm as a court clerk in Dec 2000. I joined Christian Foundation Fellowship (C.F.F.) church with Bishop Dr. Harrison K. Ng'ang'a. My greatest desire, hunger and thirst this time was to Baptized in the Holy Spirit because the C.U. chairman had told me that if I get Spirit filled, I would do exploits under supernatural influence just like Jesus did. This came to me as a seed and was conceived in my heart permanently. I knew beyond any reasonable doubt that the day I will get baptized with evidence of speaking in tongues then I would be permitted to operate in a Heavenly Capacity. God started dealing with my life since immediately. I started praying and fasting to be baptized but it didn't happen for two years. At one point I faked speaking in tongues for six months but they could not come out with an anointing because it was an imitation of the reality. It was actually tiresome when praying in them as compared to today when God delivered me and filled me with His Spirit. It brought total confusion in my life. What started as a joke grew into a habit then stronghold and it confused my spiritual life. It would have been hard to know the correct tongues if God would have baptized me at that time. Thanks to Jehovah God. He's not an author of confusion. He first dealt with me before baptizing me. I warn you never to manipulate spiritual things or operate fake gifts otherwise you will experience the worst of the worst.

One day, I came back to myself and alone confessed to God and stopped speaking in fake tongues. It was a really sacrificial process to revert the habit. Thank to God who honors a broken heart and a contrite spirit. "For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones Isaiah 57:15." God demonstrated His love, mercy and faithfulness to me on 14th May 2000 at 10:45am while I was lifting up my hands in the middle row of the church when suddenly tongues of fire begun to bubble in my mouth like a volcano. As I continued to speak, a banner appeared in front of me. I saw the language of tongues writing on it as I spoke under the influence of the Holy Ghost. When I stopped it stopped. When I spoke it continued. I still remember the writings and I can write them down even today. My Sunday service ended indefinitely due to the excitement and I took off to do exploits since I had the evidence of what it takes to do like Jesus. God was and is with me doing great wonders through my life. I challenge you that is not Baptized in the Spirit to begin to ask the Father to baptize you. Immersion Baptism.

I first went through immersion Baptism in 2000 but without revelation. For that reason I didn't consider myself baptized. I got real Baptism later after visiting one Apostle Kisambo's seminar in Nairobi. As he was teaching on 'The Power of Immersion Baptism,' I got a deep revelation so I sensed a need for a repeat the baptism in that atmosphere of revelation. I went for baptism on 15th Dec 2001. Mighty power rested upon me as I was coming out of water. There was such an indisputable presence of God. A voice whispered to my heart, "I have sent you to set my people free and by my Spirit you shall overcome mighty forces of the satan." In the direction of the Spirit, I prayed for a lady who was well confirmed to be HIV positive and she got healed instantly healing. She's alive blessed with a family and the doctor's results stands as a prove to date of what God can do in Jesus Name. This miracle was a clear sign of what God intended to do with me in the ministry. I terminated employment and went to Karura forest (prayer mountain forest within Nairobi area) where I prayed and fasted for several days after which I started preaching in the upcountry in the sorcerers and diviners homes challenging their activities.

My Divine Call.

The day begun in a fair weather. A special chapter opened in my life. This is an experience that I will never forget. It remains fresh in my mind, ears and eyes every moment. It happened prior to my second immersion baptism. A day that Jehovah Shammah answered my long awaited desire on 14th June 2000. It was after our mid-week evening intercessory service in Nairobi C.F.F. H/Q Church. Our Bishop (Ng'ang'a) taught us about hearing God's voice and understanding dreams & visions. It was very inspiring. That day I got enlightened about sensing God's presence and how to obey him promptly. As Bishop was praying for us, there was a mighty prophetic presence. The spiritual gifts started to manifest in us. People prophesied while others interpreted tongues. Bishop advised us to be ready because that night some of us would experience divine visitation which would answer many things in our life. The service ended at 7pm. I would feel strange power upon me as I traveled home. The following day, I was woken up by a vision at 3am. I couldn't believe myself until when I pierced my body to confirm that I was the one. It was live in the eyes. I was standing in front of a Super Glorious Throne. Angels in white, cream and purple were flying around the Throne and there was unique music playing with instruments and refined voices. I managed to tap a few words which I always hear being uttered by people speaking in tongues. Behind me was a big tall Angel in drizzling white. A voice came from the throne and said, "Take him to the fields and let him choose one." Suddenly, I found myself standing in front of two nursery beds. Approximately 3 metres away was a huge tree which had a cool shade. Under it was an old man standing as if relaxing from a heavy task without shirt and in trouser folded up to the knees. His feet were bear and muddy. He looked tired and never spoke anything to us. The angel asked me, "Which field do you want?" I answered, "Both." In one nursery bed, there were very small seedlings and one couldn't understand what type of plants they were. In the other one, the seedlings were bigger ready for transplantation. The angel ordered, 'let's go back.' Immediately I found myself again in front of the throne. My angel gave out the message regarding my choice in the fields. A voice from the throne said, "watch until they grow and transplant them when ready." I found myself facing a multitude of people of different caliber and color. Again the voice said, "Go and tell them...." I left and moved towards them and that's when my mind and eyes came back to the natural control. I knelt down besides my bed and continued speaking in tongues the way I found myself. I couldn't speak much for 3 days after the vision. Unusual fear of God was upon me. The gift of interpretation of tongues began to operate in me. With time gifts of revelation and Power started working through me evidently. Now I knew I had been called and commissioned to preach the gospel.

My life has been inspired so much by men of God through watching their programs, reading their books and attending their meetings when possible. Some of these important vessels are Smith Wigglesworth, Prophet Dr. David Owuor, Pastor Kenneth Haggin, TBN & Family media Television, Prophet Manasseh Jordan, Dr. Creflo Dollar, Billy Graham, EV. Reinhard Bonke, Apostle Danstun Maboya (TZ), Pastor Chris (Nigeria), Benny Hinn (USA), TL. Osborn, Myles Monroe (USA), Rod Parsley (USA), Kathyline Kulman, Reverend Harrison Oulo from Western Kenya (who has a unique gift with ability to read the Bible in all versions on a heavenly screen), Bishop Ng'ang'a to name a few. Rev. Oulo doesn't carry a hard copy Bible. The scriptures simply appear in the air as he preaches. The anointing has kept me ministering in great power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit as people get transformed. His Grace has been sufficient to me. It's not by my power, nor might but by His Spirit. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Zechariah :4:6. Ordination.

On 16th April 2005, my Bishop Harrison K. Ng'ang'a ordained me as a minister of the Gospel in the witness of thousands of believers to confirm what God had already installed in me. This day, the Lord spoke through a sister in tongues after the oil was poured onto me and the gift of interpretation rested upon our Bishop who interpreted the message as he always does because God gave him that gift. God was saying, " Behold I have chosen you and sent you like a heavy rain cloud. Through you, I will water the dry hearts as rain waters dry land. No witches or forces of satan shall stand before you for my presence will go with you." This prophecy resembled the voice that I heard during immersion Baptism. God has never disappointed me. I have seen His Miracles because it's God's promise.

My Tribute to Bishop Dr. Harrison Ng'ang'a, President Christian Foundation Fellowship Church for bringing me up in the knowledge of God's Word by the valuable wisdom he has so generous shared.
